Treclin gel is becoming quite popular amongst UK dermatologists in the use of facial acne in people over the age of 12. It contains 1% clindamycin and 0.025% tretinoin.
This branded product is made by Mylan and we at Relimeds stock the generic version, Retino AC made by Johnson and Johnson as a 15g gel.
The clindamycin is an antibiotic and the tretinoin irritates the skin causing an increase in skin turnover and reducing oil production.
