Tazarotene is the active ingredient in Zorac 0.05% gel and Zorac 0.1% gel, both are made by Allergen. Tazarotene is a third generation retinoid and has become a popular topical application for psoriasis, acne and sun damage.
At 0.1% tazarotene can be used as an antiaging cream and works by increasing collagen production in the dermis thereby reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It is available from Relimeds as Tazret 0.05% Gel 20g by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and Tazret Forte 0.1% 20g also by Glenmark.
How to use
Apply once a day in the evening for up to 12 weeks.
